Def Leppard-Journey 2024 tickets and schedule: How to see their huge concert in Phoenix

Journey and Def Leppard have announced a co-headlining summer tour that brings them to Chase Field in Phoenix on Friday, Aug. 23, 2024, with special guests Steve Miller Band.

The 23-city tour kicks off on July 6 at Busch Stadium in St. Louis with stops at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, Wrigley Field in Chicago and Oracle Park in Journey’s hometown, San Francisco, before wrapping at Coors Field in Denver on Sept. 8.

An all-star lineup of bands will vary by city to round out the evening with performances by Steve Miller Band, Heart and Cheap Trick. Fans can check local markets for their lineup.

The tour is presented by AEG Presents.

Registration for access to presale tickets opens at 8 a.m. MST Thursday, Dec. 7, at www.defleppardjourney2024.com

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 15, at ticketmaster.com.

Citi is the official card of the tour, giving cardmembers access to purchase presale tickets beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13, through the Citi Entertainment program at www.citientertainment.com

Def Leppard to 'hit the boards running' with new stage show

In a press release, Joe Elliott of Def Leppard said, "Having just completed a sensational 18-month run promoting our 'Diamond Star Halos' album, we shall hit the boards running with a brand-new stage show and set of songs that will celebrate specific parts of our history.  We may even have a surprise or two up our sleeves.”

Def Leppard released their critically acclaimed 12th studio album “Diamond Star Halos” in 2022. It charted all over the world, going Top 5 in the States. They followed that with "Drastic Symphonies" in May 2023, reimaging some of their greatest hits with London’s Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at Abbey Road. The album spent 15 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Current Classical Chart. 

They also embarked on a sold-out stadium tour across North America with Mötley Crüe in 2022, selling more than 1.3 million tickets. In 2023, the tour wowed audiences throughout Central and South America, the U.S., Japan, Australia and Europe, including a stop at Wembley Stadium in London.

Journey 'thrilled to be back on the road in 2024'

Journey issued a statement saying, “We are thrilled to be back on the road in 2024 with so many good friends as part of this tour.  No matter which city you come to this will be an amazing night of music.”

Journey features Neal Schon (lead guitarist/backing vocals), Jonathan Cain (keyboards, backing vocals), Arnel Pineda (lead vocals), Deen Castronovo (drums, vocals), Jason Derlatka (keyboards, vocals) and Todd Jensen (bass).

Schon is a three-time Hall of Fame inductee, having been inducted to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the Grammy Hall of Fame and the Oklahoma Hall of Fame.

Jon Cain is a recipient of two BMI songwriter awards and was inducted to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Journey.

Journey have been playing sold-out arenas on their Freedom Tour.
