In loving memory of Karin R. Powell, a cherished mother and friend. Karin passed away on December 5, 2023 at the age of 86 in Phoenix, AZ with her devoted son Christopher by her side. She is survived sons Christopher and David (Jean) and predeceased by husband Derek and brother Peter.
She was a guiding light for her children, extended family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Pittsburgh Opera and The Phoenix Symphony in her memory are appreciated.
A celebration of Karin's life will be held both in Phoenix and Pittsburgh in the coming weeks and months.
